We are in renewable energy business for electricity generation through source solar PV for the last 20 years since 1999. Earlier we promoted TATABP (Now TATAPOWER) in rural off gird segment in NEPAL.


Hence, we were working at grass root level to contribute in the national solar mission by installing solar home lighting system for about 17000 rural homes and more. During our off-grid application installation, we learnt Light is the Life changing things in rural area and we became passionate about renewable energy



OUr history






1999
Kathmandu Power Pvt ltd was incorporated in year 1999. Attended training at TATABP in Bangalore INDIA for solar PV awareness and benefits. The company targeted to establish Branches in different part of country to cater rural people with the solar home lighting system



2000 to 2006
APEC listed us as their pre-qualified company for solar home Lighting systems off grid application promotion. We installed of TATABP solar home lighting in quantity successfully and promoted TATABP in Rural segment.



2006 to 2008
Collaborated with SHARP JAPAN to export their solar panels to 2006 to 2008 Germany from Singapore for solar PV roof top projects.



2008 to 2012
Collaborated with Germany brand SUNTECHNIC INDIA PVT and 2008 to 2012 Promoted their solutions line in off grid segment



2013

Set up the Research and development unit in Bangalore with 2013 Maruthi solar and created own brand GreenTECH.



2013 to 2016
GreenTECH Distribution got registered in Singapore. Engaged 2013 to 2016 in B2B business vertical supplying to CG and Sukam agent



2017 to 2018
GreenTECH Project PVT LTD got registered with the concept of 2017 to 2018 the local warehousing for trading business and later resigned



2019

Built the business verticals
1.MW scale projects
2. Roof Tops for self-consumption and net metering
3. Energy Irrigation
4. Enterprising business vertical

Major Breakthrough 1. Ensured the EPC and funding company for 2019 MW scale projects 2. Solar cells Trading business in INDIA.



2020

International business set up : Joined hand with Photonix solar PVT for INDIA solar cells business in MW scale.


Local business set up : Built the Human resource team for Business vertical Energy irrigation and Roof Top projects.


Business Target: Solar PV Plant O&M Turnkey solution and 2020 Megawatts solar PV ground utility scale projects in Nepal
